Associate Manager - Delivery Operations

Job Description

Associate Manager - Delivery Operations will maintain proper controls within the assigned area and provide leadership and effective management of direct reports.
Basic Activities:
  • Regular monitoring of hub performance in Tableau (On-Time Delivery, Open Orders, RTC Monitoring, Failed Deliveries, etc.)
  • Regular monitoring of deliveries per hub and ensure they are able to deliver the packages within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with client
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Create strategies to meet operational KPIs, client SLAs including timely COD remittance and OTD
  • Conduct weekly performance review and business updates with hub OICs to addresses all pending issues and concerns
  • Identify and address operational issues
  • Implement and enforce all company policies
  • Manage operational cost to ensure profitability of all hubs
  • Initiate cost-saving initiatives
  • Create strategies to meet operational KPIs, client SLAs including timely COD remittance, On-Time Delivery, Document Returns, RTS and Reporting
  • Develop and cascade team's objectives and key results (OKRs) while ensuring clear understanding for all hub OICs
  • Conduct regular hub assessments and recommend areas for improvement to streamline hub processes
  • Coordinate with delivery partners, understand their capabilities and negotiate for the best rates
  • Conduct quarterly performance review with all agency providers
  • Properly train staff, set clear objectives, monitor their performance and make sure their compliance with BOPs, SOPs and WIs
  • Develop employee programs and rewards to create a motivating environment for the employees
  • Implement measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency of department, work crew, and equipment
  • Review all hub reports and ensure that it is properly done and submitted on a timely manner
  • Send weekly operational updates to Associate Director
  • Ensure on-time filing and monitoring of local permits
  • And all other tasks and responsibilities that may be deemed required by management
