The Freight Forwarding – Visayas Account Manager is generally responsible for providing sales activities and administrative support to FF Senior Manager and the Freight Forwarding Department, requiring a strong knowledge on the Logistics industry as well as office operations and sales processes. We are looking for an individual who will manage, secure new business and Tap new potential customers to achieve both KPI’s and Target as planned. Organize all Commercial and sales support activities in cooperation with, and under the direct supervision of an Industry Manager and/or the Head of Business Development.
Job Description
- Provides support to Freight Forwarding Visayas Regional Sales Managers on all sales and administrative activities in line to achieving common KPIs and Targets
- Research and create a pool of target and prospect account listing and collaborates with the FF Visayas/Mindanao Regional Sales Managers for collaborative approach
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new service offerings
- Displays a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and Entrego’s operational capabilities
- Coordinates directly with the Yield Management team in ensuring that the appropriate pricing templates are used for proposals
- Coordinates with different departments such as Operations, Finance and IT to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of various project requirements
- Client Management
- Supports the Industry Manager in communicating with and directly interacting with clients through phone, electronic mail or meetings
- Will be assigned tele-sales functions to explore leads, develop contacts, set appointments and directly coordinate with Clients
- The role may require that the employee attend client meetings on behalf of the Industry Manager, with appropriate direction and supervision
- File Management, Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintains, organizes and updates the central electronic filing system of the Commercial group
- Ensures that all commercial files are updated to current versions, while maintaining historical files in a central archive
- Responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the department’s central file database
- Generally responsible for the documentation and recording of meeting minutes, highlights and agreements and communicating these to all stakeholders
- Schedule Management
- Directly responsible for managing the schedules and appointments of the Industry Managers for both internal and external meetings
- Manages schedule conflicts and directly coordinates with parties involved to address these conflicts
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- With excellent written and oral communication skills
- 2- to 3-year experience in an administrative role
- 5 years’ experience in a sales environment with client-facing role, preferred
- Exemplary interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical, solutions-oriented and goal-focused
- Solid organizational skills with extremely high attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint
