Design and implement IT security systems to protect Entrego’s computer networks from cyber-attacks. Help develop organization-wide best practices for IT security. Monitor computer and network for security issues, install security software and document all security issues and breaches.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Install security measures and operate security software
- Upgrade systems to enable security software
- Install and upgrade antivirus software
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Perform basic penetration testing
- Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT security requirements
- Gather feedback from end users for continuous improvement of systems
- Design, analyze and implement efficient IT security systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information management
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Understanding of firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding the business impact.
- Candidates should have experience in the following:
- Unified threat management
- Network monitoring tool
- Endpoint solution
- Skills and Certifications that are good to have but not required:
- Certification in information security
- Advance knowledge in OSI framework
- With NIST framework knowledge
- ITIL v4 Certified
