Job Description

The Sales Executive - Contract Logistics (CL) is responsible for hunting new businesses and strategic accounts by selling the company's warehousing and supply chain solutions. The Sales Executive will conduct market research to identify the best-fit customers. He/ She will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects.
 
The Sales Executive CL is dynamic and self-motivated with sales background and demonstrated sales success. He/ She will work together with cross-functional groups and customers to define project requirements and lead successful RFPs.
 
Responsibilities:
  •  Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs):
    • Write and present deal-winning proposals and presentations
    • Work with Acquisitions CL to close deals quickly and effectively
    • Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines, while looking to maximize profits.
  • Growth (work with CL BD new structure to growth)
    • Secure new CL customers. Work towards organization’s growth target for CL with your collaboration:
    • Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
    • Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and exploring opportunities to develop new revenue streams.
    • Collaborate with Acquisitions CL and Business Development (BD) CL to maintain a Pipeline (tbd) every year by working with BD.
  • Market Research:
    • Uncover and develop new business leads through market research to understand trends and key customer involvement and sourcing networking opportunities
    • Keeping a track of market & competitors’ information and take part in the overall business development through weekly/monthly sales meetings.
    • Maintain records of customer details and monthly review of sales pipeline, customer meetings, revenue, sales stages updated as opportunity progresses. Provide weekly sales activity and pipeline reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics industry
  • Proven background in closing sales opportunities
  • Experience and knowledge in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
  • Ability to understand customers’ perspective and think win-win
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong in customer relationship management and networking and able to build strong business rapport at all levels
  • Good presentation skills and negotiation skills
  • Passionate and self-motivated and a results-driven approach
