Senior Manager - Operational Excellence

Job Description

This role will support the deployment of all Quality, EHS and other OE related disciplines thru the implementation of Entrego Management System; deployment of standard site/hub audits and utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies in order to optimize current processes for both internal and external clients. He/She will aslo develop the quality management framework for Entrego including audits of failed deliveries and performance review system for the operations.
  • Deployment of OE disciplines in all aspects of the operations
  • Set up operational standards at the Sortation centers, hubs, mailroom and on-site operations
  • Supports continuous improvement thru the implementation of LEAN concept and Kaizen projects
  • Ensure that timely Incident reporting and Root Cause Analysis are performed to address operational issues and failures on agreed SLAs
  • Coach the leadership team on the use of OE methodologies in day to day operations
  • Develops strategies for campaign and peak season activities
  • Supports activities from opportunity development to client onboarding
  • Participate in the development of strategies for site/hub expansion and future business opportunities.
  • Set up standard layout for the Sortation center and major hubs to ensure smooth flow, increased productivity and improve quality of work
  • Performs Root Cause Analysis on problem areas including failure to meet customer agreed SLAs
  • Conducts evaluations of potential warehouses/hubs for current and future expansions
  • Participates in developing strategies during campaign and peak season activities and future business expansions
  • Supports Commercial/Project Management from account development to client onboarding
  • Applies Lean+Six Sigma methodology in addressing operational issues and other cost saving initiatives
  • Conducts regular site assessments to address lingering issues prior to campaign and peak season activities
  • Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • At least 10 yrs solid experience in deployment of Operations Excellence discipline, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain industry
  • Knowledge/experience in using different Quality, EHS, Lean and Six Sigma, Project Management tools/methodologies
  • Able to lead/manage business wide projects. Support project teams
  • Experience in leading audits (Process, Quality, HSE), business process reviews, creating policies and procedures
  • Experience in the deployment of management systems (QMS, EMS, etc…)
  • Understanding of legal/regulatory requirements
