Vendor Management Associate - Transport Services for Independent Contributor

Job Description

To support the team in increasing and improving the service network through the onboarding of independent contractors/independent couriers. The role can be on a project-based status for 6 months until 300 regular ICs are onboarded.
The employee should have at least a recruitment background.
 
Critical Accountabilties
  • To assist in growing the service network that will support the resource requirements of operations.
    • Call of IC applicants.
    • Assessment of application and clearances submitted.
    • Conduct initial discussion on the ICs knowledge and experience, service alignment and other matters that may be raised by the applicant.
    • Proper turn over to operations for training and shadowing.
    • Assist in contract execution.
  • Help improve end to end process
    • Weekly reporting of IC applicants’ status.
    • Escalation of issues raised by both operations and ICs to his/her superior.
  • Consistent adherence and compliance to regulatory and company standards.
    • Review of documents and clearances submitted by an IC applicant.
Requirements
  • College/University Graduate with appropriate management courses and qualifications
  • Experience with recruitment process
  • Knowledge in fleet/transportation and outsourcing
